Amitabh Bachchan stands tall against use of Tobacco and Alcohol

Big B of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan will campaign against Alcohol and Tobacco. The initiative is taken care by the State Government of India.

As the country facing a huge loss with youths engaging themselves into alcohol and tobacco products, the State Governments decided to anchor the increasing sale of tobacco and alcohol products by increasing taxes. Apart from the price hike and statutory stickers mandatorily placed on the products, the sales didn't witness a downfall on the contrary maintained an incline day-by-day.

To chain up this roaring issue, the Government has basked in with a unique idea. However, sensing the same Bollywood too comes in front by showcasing a statutory clip before every screening alongside showcasing the warning beneath every smoking and alcohol consumption scene. Enough of the preliminary measures, the Government now has decided to rope in the respected actor Amitabh Bachchan himself to campaign against the use of tobacco and alcohol related products.

According to reports, the social justice department has approved an advertisement script featuring Mr. Bachchan, drafted by SMF (Salaam Mumbai Foundation) with a sum of 78 Lakh rupees for the production and execution of the advertisement video. Following this, the insiders also claimed that Big B hasn't charged any fees regards to him shooting for the campaign.

Confirming the above, Social Justice Minister Shivajirao Moghe reportedly stated that they will be preparing three ads featuring Mr. Bachchan. Whereas one would be a campaign against alcohol, the rest two would oppose the use of tobacco and tobacco related products.
