Amitabh Bachchan to be honoured by the President of India

The megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be honoured in Delhi by the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, for being listed in the list of 25 Global Living Indians.

The "mahanayak" of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan has loads of awards to his credit for his valuable contribution to cinema. The megastar has also received many honours for being a great social activist. And now, the iconic Amitabh Bachchan will be honoured in Delhi by the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, reportedly.

Mr. Bachchan has been listed by a famous news channel in the list of the 25 Greatest Global Living Indians. Big B expressed his happiness on the micro-blogging site Twitter by writing that "NDTV honours 25 Global Indians on its 25th anniversary... honours to be done by the President of India ! Yours Truly is one of them." Bachchan senior described the event elaborately on his blog by saying that "A commemoration by the President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan of 25 Indians that brought glory to the nation .. it being 25 years of the existence of NDTV ..."
