Bollywood’s veteran actress has made a comeback in the industry and made her presence felt in films like 2 States and A Flying Jatt among others. The actress has opted out of a few films lately including Arjun Kapoor-Anil Kapoor starrer Mubarakan . The reason is her daughter Sara’s Bollywood debut. Amrita wants to focus more on her daughter’s first film and hence she has kept herself free from professional commitments at the moment.
A source reveals, “The whole world knows Amrita and Saif’s daughter Sara is gearing up for her Bollywood debut. Amrita has opted out of Mubarakan, so she can focus on getting the right debut film for her daughter. She had recently signed a couple of films which she has now opted out of for her daughter’s sake.”
The actress was asked about this sudden opt out and she said, “We couldn’t work out the dates. The dates needed for Mubarakan clashed with my personal commitments.”
Amrita Singh earlier worked with Arjun Kapoor in 2 States and had a similar role in Mubarakan .
