A day before, the news was revealed that for his latest film ‘Bombay Velvet’, director Anurag Kashyap had made his mind to cast Katrina Kaif opposite to Ranbir Kapoor, but since due to her commitments she wasn’t available, he had to go for Anushka Sharma.

We would like to put an end to all such rumors and stories with this quote from Anurag Kashyap himself-'Just read yesterdays news and just for clarification, Anushka Sharma was the only choice for Bombay Velvet ".
Anushka Sharma will be seen on the silver screen in the Vishal Bhardwaj romantic comedy ' Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola ', where she stars opposite to Imran Khan .
