Daughter of Asha Bhosle , Varsha Bhosle committed suicide today. According to the reports, the unfortunate incident took place at 12.30 pm today.
She had shot herself in the head and according to the additional commissioner of police (South) Krishna Prakash she has not left any suicide note behind her.
It is reported that she was suffering from depression and has also tried to commit suicide in September 2008 by taking high dose of dangerous pills.
The exact reason of her suicide is still not known.
After hearing the bad news, her mother, Asha Bhosle who was in Singapore, had taken a flight back.
Varsha who was 56, was a columnist and a singer and wanted to open an orphanage.
When she committed suicide she was alone in her flat and according to reports, she had shot herself in her temple with a pistol of Belgian make.
