Ashutosh Gowariker's TV series 'Everest' to be based on mountaineering

The ace filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker's upcoming television show 'Everest' will be based on the theme of mountaineering.

We earlier reported about the filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker coming up with a television show. The further news update regarding the same reveals that Gowariker's show 'Everest' will have the theme of mountaineering. AGPPL has collaborated with the well-known mountaineering institute, Nehru Institute Of Mountaineering (NIM), Uttarakashi. A huge chunk of the show will be filmed at this location and the actors in the show will be receiving the mountaineering training at this institute, as per the reports.

The filmmaker Gowariker thanked the Col. Ajay Kothiyal, Principal NIM and the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of Uttarakhand. Gowariker said that "This is my first visit to Uttarakhand. I am amazed to see the picturesque beauty of Uttarakashi. Despite the tragedy that befell this entire region, it's heartening to see the way the people of Uttarakashi have come to terms with it and life is once again normal. I am happy to be shooting here for the next two months after which we will move to Nepal," The television show 'Everest' conceptualized by Ashutosh Gowariker , will be directed by Ankush and Glenn.
