Battle of Mega Blockbuster so far: Dangal vs. Baahubali 2: the conclusion

Off lately, cine-goer across the country are parted in the debate, as to see who won the box office battle between Dangal and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion ! There were many records broken by these two films, like Baahubali 2 was first Indian movie to not only earn 100 crores fastest but also the one to reach $100 million milestones. And even for its Hindi version, Baahubali 2 crossed 500 crore mark recently keeping its box office collection ahead.

In an attempt to keep ahead, makers of Dangal released the film in the Chinese market over 9000 screens across the domain in the first week of May. This helped Dangal ’s collection sore high in the Chinese market and that eventually helped Dangal to get shoulder-to-shoulders with on collection of Baahubali 2. With such a boost in the Chinese market, Dangal now collectively earned 1662 crores, making it highest grossing Bollywood film ever.

And in the case of Baahubali 2, it still posed on-going box office collection of 1633 crores and now producers of Baahubali 2 are also planning to try their luck on the Chinese market with 6000 screens across, which would definitely put Baahubali 2 ahead of the competition.

It is also expected that, in tussle between these two mega blockbuster’s tussle, Baahubali 2 has more chances to move ahead since, Dangal is fading in its graph and got a competition from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Baahubali 2 being fresh film it is bound to gather more collection. Only time would tell!
