No doubt Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s ‘ Padmavati ’ has been the most talked about and controversial films of the year 2017. Ever since the trailer of the film was released, the fans couldn’t resist their desire to watch the film in cinemas. But due to the political tension around, ‘ Padmavati ’, which was supposed to release on 1st December 2017, was postponed to an indefinite time period. Not only the fans but the cast of the film is also waiting for the new release date. To cheer up the mood of film lovers, actor Shahid Kapoor has revealed the exciting news related to the film’s release. At an interview after the Zee Cine Awards, the actor revealed that the new release date will be out before the end of 2017.
Shahid admitted that he’s desperate for the film to release. And talking to a leading portal, he stated, “The wait is killing me. I am dying for the film to come out!” Later, when asked about Padmavati’s release plans, he revealed, “I am sure before the end of the year, we’ll have clarity on when Padmavati is releasing. We want to release as soon as possible.” Well, only 10 days are left in the year and we expect we would get to hear some good news on ‘Padmavati’.
On the work front, Shahid is all set to start ‘ Batti Gul Meter Chalu ’, directed by Shree Narayan Singh and after that, we will possibly see him in Imtiaz Ali ’s next.
