Bollywood industry mourns Kolkata flyover collapse tragedy

Bollywood industry people expressed their grief and anguish over the flyover collapse tragedy that took place yesterday in North Kolkata's Girish Park area. Amitabh Bachchan expressed his concern over this tragedy on his personal blog. He wrote, "A bridge has collapsed in Kolkata and many suffer .. our prayers go out for all .. may God be with them .. having spent a major part of the year in the city on work I feel I must have crossed this bridge often .. fate and time wait for no one .. tragedies do concern us and we hope always that the worst can be avoided .. but at times it just does not .Our prayers today for Kolkata,"

Big B also posted a tweet on his Twitter handle.

The rescue work on this mishap is going on war footing. In order to complete the operation as early as possible, the heavy earth movers and gas cutting paraphernalia is being used by the military and NDRF teams.
