Bollywood pays tribute to Nelson Mandela

The legendary anti-apartheid hero Nelson Mandela breathed his last on 5th December, Thursday. The 95-year old Mandela was the real inspiration to all and he was the one, who brought a vast change in the history of South Africa. Mandela expired after a long-drawn-out lung infection. This Nobel Peace Prize winner did a lot for humanity and his death made the entire world go into grief.

Hollywood and Bollywood celebs mourned and paid homage to the great persona. Amitabh Bachchan wrote that "Nelson Mandela - a giant man; of will, belief and perseverance, passes away. But leaves behind a legacy of fight for right!! I had the greatest honor to meet and spend time with him on two occasions! His humility his greatest asset, among countless other!" Shabana Azmi penned down that "What an outpouring of love n respect for Nelson Mandela - a deep reverence cutting across all divides on what he stood for at all times RIP." Madhur Bhandarkar wrote that "Nelson Mandela personified struggle. He sacrificed his private life & his youth for his people and remains South Africa's loved hero. RIP"

Akshay Kumar wrote that "A good head and a good heart are always a formidable combination. Couldn't be more true... #RIPNelsonMandela" Anupam Kher 's tweet said that "Hope, Courage, Struggle, peace, Compassion. With Nelson Mandela, a part of these expressions also died today. Thank you for your Life. RIP" Kabir Khan wrote one of his memories with Mandela by saying that "I was filming a documentary in South Africa wearing a T-shirt that said 'Vote for Mandela'. He smiled and said to me 'U can get arrested for that'. RIP to the greatest person I had the honour of meeting. My prized possession his autographed autobiography"
