Bollywood stands by the family of Late Nitin Ivalekar

Bollywood stands up for the family of late fireman Nitin Ivalekar, who lost his life in a fire rescue operation at Mumbai's Lotus Business Park.

Last Friday, a tragic incident took toll over the happiness of Ivalekar family, which lost their beloved Nitin Ivalekar in the fire rescue operation of 22-storeyed Lotus Business Park in Mumbai. Incidentally, Hrithik Roshan and his father Rakesh Roshan own five floors in this commercial complex. Though their property remained unhampered by the flames, yet the father-son duo came up to stand by the family of late Nitin Ivalekar.

Though nothing can compensate the death of Nitin, filmmaker Rakesh along with the other property owners have decided to offer the monetary help of rupees 15 lakhs to his family. He is also willing to fund his son's education.

While announcing the financial help to Ivalekar family, Rakesh also talked about the ill safety measures taken at the commercial complex. Where, even the fire fighting equipments were not working.

Hrithik shared his deep condolence with a tweet, "Respect for the brave firemen who risked their lives today to extinguish d flames. True courage."

Whereas, Shah Rukh Khan saluted the brave spirit with a post- "Non nobis solum nati sumus. (Not for ourselves alone are we born.) Cicero. Fireman Nitin Yewalekar, u proved that You r a real Hero. R.I.P."
