'Bombay Velvet'- Anurag Kashyap's Dream Project

' Bombay Velvet ' created its space in the tabloids as well as web portals, way before the film flap slammed its first. The unusual pairing of Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor to the larger than life theme all possessed by the unconventional director Anurag Kashyap . The film had every bit of spice to deal itself at top of the "gossip bazaar".
Well though not much yet revealed, the recent press meet conducted in Colombo by the filmmakers for the first time disclosed a key factor behind the sheer weaving of this "Velvet". Reportedly, Anurag went overwhelmed at the first official public display and stated ' Bombay Velvet ' to be his nine years old dream seeking the light of reality after a long period of time.
The film produced by Anurag is partnered along with ace producers Vikas Bahl and Vikramaditya Motwane . It is as well backed by international production house Fox Star Studios . The CEO of this production house, Vijay Singh also stated their positive approach on their support to Anurag. He as well mentioned his belief in Anurag and expressed his urge on the release of the movie.
' Bombay Velvet ' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma went on floors at the end of July this year in Colombo. The whole unit is currently working hard to finish off the first schedule, which is lined up till first week of September. The film however is scrolled down for 25th December global release next year.
