Celebs welcome Ganpati Bappa in style; adorn desi avatars!

Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most awaited festivals of the year, especially in Mumbai and the whole of Maharashtra! Bollywood actors and celebrities were no less in taking part in the festivities and celebrated the festival with utmost enthusiasm. Some of the actors welcomed Bappa home while others attended poojas at each other’s homes and at Sarvajanik Pandals. The most talked about celebrity event was Ambani’s Ganesh Pooja. Several A list Bollywood actors marked their presence making it a star-studded event.

Some of the prominent names include Deepika Padukone who came along with Ranveer Singh , the Bachchan family, Shah Rukh Khan walked in wearing a sleek white Kurta, Salman Khan also marked his presence. Aamir Khan attended the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration with wife Kiran Rao and son. Other attendees include Priyanka Chopra who flaunted a gorgeous desi avatar, Ranbir Kapoor , Siddharth Malhotra , Jacqueline Fernandez , and Karan Johar among others. The celebrities adorned traditional avatars and were looking stunning as ever making style statements on the go!

Actress Shraddha Kapoor shared a picture with her family as she hosted Bappa at home. Madhuri Dixit also posed with Ganesha and shared good wishes on social media. Sanjay Dutt also chose to share a picture with his family while wishing everyone a prosperous festival. This year Salman Khan did not host Bappa at his Galaxy apartment but the celebrations were shifted to his sister Arpita Khan Sharma's newly bought home.
