Ashim Ahluwalia 's upcoming directorial venture ' Miss Lovely ' gained much international acclaim and the film is all set to hit the screens in India with 'A' certificate, reportedly. The further news update about ' Miss Lovely ' said that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has passed the film with just four cuts.

Earlier, 157 cuts were proposed by Censor Board for this film that have been revised over the course of one year. The director Ahluwalia is much happy about this and applauds the Censor Board. He said that he thought the film ' Miss Lovely ' would not release in India over the adult content the film is containing. He added that a lot of respect have been given to the film by the Censor Board and only some degree of adult content needed to cut. A close source stated that "Earlier, the Censor Board objected to the foul language and sexual content in the movie. But they have been mature, fair and kind enough to reduce it to just four blurred scenes having realised that none of the provocative content is gratuitous. There is enough steam in the gritty film to stay true to its subject and attract audiences,"

' Miss Lovely ' embarks on the sleazy world of "C" grade film industry in the 1980's. The movie features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Niharika Singh in the lead role and it's ready to release on January 17.
