Daisy Shah & Saqib roped in for Salman Khan’s Race 3!

BollywoodMDB has been keeping our readers updated about the Race franchise’s upcoming film Race 3. Ever since superstar Salman Khan has been roped in to play the lead, the franchise has got a new glory. Salman replaced Saif Ali Khan who played the key role in both the previous films in the series. Jacqueline Fernandez is the one who will continue to be a part of the third film. The makers have finally announced the rest of the cast, pushing aside all the speculations.

The new additions are Daisy Shah and Saqib! Daisy got acclaim in Bollywood when she starred in Jai Ho with Salman Khan  and has been  one of his favourites in the industry since then. Ramesh Taurani, the producer, confirmed the news in a media statement and said, "Apart from Salman Khan, Bobby Deol and Jacqueline Fernandez now Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem are officially part of Race 3 now. Daisy is the second female lead in the film. Saqib's role will also have negative shades to it like the rest of the cast."

According to a leading daily, Taurani stated, “Yes, we have signed Saqib and he will also be playing an important character in the film. It’s difficult to say who is paired opposite whom in the film because like all other Race films, this too will have twists and turns. But we felt that Saqib will completely suit the character. We begin shooting for it in Mumbai itself. Then, we will shoot abroad.”

There were speculations that actors Aditya Roy Kapur, Sooraj Pancholi and Sidharth Malhotra were approached for Race 3 cast. Now, all the important casting decisions are being made. The makers are finalizing on other technicalities too. The film is directed by ace choreographer turned director Remo D’Souza.
