Deepika Padukone buys Rs. 40 crore flat in Prabhadevi; gifts it to her father

Deepika Padukone is riding high on the wave of success and she is all set with her forthcoming Hollywood flick xXx 3: Return Of Xander Cage that hits the screens January 20, 2017. The actress plays the role of Serena in the film. She bought herself a plush 4 BHK apartment in the year 2010 in Prabhadevi, Mumbai for Rs. 16 crore and now, the actress has purchased a brand new flat for whopping Rs. 40 crore.
As per the buzz, Deepika will gift this flat to the special man in her life, that is her father Prakash Padukone. Some reports also revealed that there is also possibility of Deepika to use this apartment as her office space. She wanted to buy another property and when she came to know about this once, she bought it. This apartment will have some classy and elegant interiors as her meetings will take place here, revealed the buzz.
In her childhood, the actress used to visit Mumbai as her maternal grandfather stays here. Deepika moved to Mumbai at the age of 18 years and always wished to buy sea-facing apartment for herself in the city of dreams.
Deepika Padukone is presently filming for Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi's film in Mumbai. She plays the lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming project Padmavati.
