Deepika Padukone opens up about her special preparations for 'Bajirao Mastani'

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama 'Bajirao Mastani' starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra in the lead is all set to hit the silver screens tomorrow, i.e. on December 18, 2015. The film has created enough buzz and, the promotions have also been supreme. In an exclusive media interaction, Deepika shares her experience and, also talks about the special preparations she did for her role in Bhansali's film.

The actress went through a lot of reading for her role to understand the character well. Deepika added that it was more of a mental preparation for her because she was juggling three films at the same time. She learned horse riding, sword-fighting and Kathak. The dimpled dame feels that the advantages of being an actor are when for certain films and specific characters, the actors learn something and also end up learning it for a lifetime. Padukone's film clashes with SRK's 'Dilwale' as it is also set to release tomorrow.
