Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmavati has been one of the most talked about films in recent times. The film started rolling in Mumbai. The latest update claims that the song Ghoomar from the film will be a spectacular treat for the viewers. Sources reveal that, the set of the song comprises of interiors which resemble the Chittorgarh Fort and it took about 40 days to be constructed. Beautiful Rajasthani paintings and about 400 diyas will be a part of the song.
Deepika Padukone has been on an intensive preparation spree for the song. For the dance number, professional dancers, fire dancers, Kishangarh and Terahtaali musicians from Jaipur are invited to be a part of the song.
Ranveer Singh will essay the character of Alauddin Khilji, while Shahid Kapoor will play Raja Rawal Ratan Singh of Mewar and Deepika Padukone will perform the role of and Rani Padmini of Chittorgarh in this historical drama. Aditi Rao Hyderi has also joined the cast, as she plays Khilji's favourite wife in the movie.
Padmavati has been scheduled to release on 17 November, 2017.
