Actress Deepika Padukone explains that she has a badminton background but has not been approached for any biopic.

Since the reports of a biopic being made on badminton ace Saina Nehwal’s life, actress Deepika Padukone ’s name came in the forefront. But, Amol Gupte made a recent announcement about casting Shraddha Kapoor in his upcoming film which is a biopic on Saina Nehwal. Now, Sonu Sood made an announcement about producing P.V. Sindhu’s biopic move. Once again rumours and speculations are being made regarding the casting of the film.
In a recent media interaction, Deepika cleared the air and said, “I have never been approached for any biopic, to be honest. I do have a background in badminton, but I have never been approached for any biopic.”
Deepika is the daughter of celebrated Badminton Player Prakash Padukone. The lady has played the sport and was involved in the sport before entering Bollywood.
