Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s Padmavati has been facing several attacks and road blocks due to the outrage of people. Bhansali and team are working hard to finish the shoot schedules on time and ensure the smooth work flow. The three main lead actors Deepika Padukone , Ranveer Singh , and Shahid Kapoor are in full support of the director and have kept other films on hold for Padmavati .
The actors will not feature in other films until Padmavati gets completed reveals a source. Ranveer Singh will essay the character of Alauddin Khilji, while Shahid Kapoor will play Raja Rawal Ratan Singh of Mewar and Deepika Padukone will perform the role of and Rani Padmini of Chittorgarh in this historical drama. Actress Aditi Rao Hydari plays Khilji's favourite wife in the movie.
Padmavati has been scheduled to release on 17 November, 2017.
