Dhanush Might Remake Ranbir Kapoor’ Barfi!, In Tamil!

South Indian Superstar Dhanush made his district debut in the Bollywood with Raanjhanaa in 2013 and it was quick hit when it was released. As rumors of him being part of another Aanand L Rai’ film for the Bollywood, Dhanush is keen to get right to remake of 2012’ smashing Bollywood hit Barfi, directed by Anurag Basu starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, and Ileana D'Cruz. Though exciting it might seem, but those who are hopeful to see Tamil rendition of Barfi might have to wait till second half of 2018 as Dhanush himself is quite packed with his films in his timeline!

The film Barfi was a milestone film for most and it is complimented for its cute storyline and misadventures in the film and even nominated for many award nights, despite being a commercially successful film. It would be perfect for Dhanush as despite playing badass rowdy on-screen many films, he also maintained a boy next door image in the audience. And considering Ranbir Kapoor’ character and performance in the film Barfi, Dhanush would be the perfect actor to helm such energetic role!

As for now, Dhanush will be booked and busy with Vada Chennai trilogy, he has completed on his Hollywood film titled The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir Who Got Trapped In An Ikea Cupboard with Uma Thurman, will be working on Enai Noki Paayum Thota and Maari 2. But it would be still interesting to his renditions Barfi!
