'Dhoom 3' gets digitized by YRF to kill piracy

YRF will release 'Dhoom 3' only on digital and UFO digital cinemas in order to beat the piracy. The makers are confident that this measure will largely reduce piracy rate.

Most of the movies lose a major share of their profit due to the issue of piracy and this issue is affecting the Bollywood to a large extent. In order to save their upcoming film from the bug of piracy, Yash Raj Films have conceptualized an effective strategy.

YRF have decided to go digital with just handful number of prints of the movie, so that the exhibitors will shift to the digital wagon. The production house has announced that no physical reels of ' Dhoom 3 ' will be available and the exhibitors, who intend to showcase the movie, have to make technological modifications. The pacy-thriller by YRF will release on digital and UFO digital cinemas. This efficient measure will certainly assist in diminishing piracy to a great extent. These prints are water-marked and finger-printed, so one can't afford to cheat, as it can easily be mapped out. This innovative step taken by the makers of the film will help in pulling more and more number of audiences to the theatre and the ticket sales will get fuelled up.

The satellite rights of the movie will also be more, which is the sole alternative to watching the film on the big screen.
