Difference Between Shahrukh Khan and Ajay Devgan Over Smoking Issue

General Secretary of NATO (National Organisation for Tobacco Eradication) Shekhar Salkar is not happy with Shah Rukh Khan 's matter of smoking in public. He said, "My main grievance is his arrogant demeanour with which he time and again decides to trample the law and smoke in places where he can be viewed and emulated by thousands of viewers when he can smoke privately."

It should be noted that during an IPL match in Jaipur, Shah Rukh Khan was seen smoking in public (In the stadium). Thereafter, Anand Singh Rathore (the director of a private cricket academy in Jaipur) had filed a complaint against him and the court procedure is on to do justice with the incident. A few days back, even the court had to send him notice to appear in the court on May 26, failing which, a bailable arrest warrant may be issued.

Earlier, even Ajay Devgn was spotted smoking in Goa, publically. But Shekhar Salkar says that there is great difference between Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn . He said, "A similar incident happened with Ajay Devgn in Goa and after sending him a letter by NOTE, he was very gracious in accepting his mistake and his recent visits to Goa have not seen him smoking in public,"

But for Shahrukh he has different opinion. Shah Rukh Khan should quit smoking but Shekhar believes that even though he had promised to cut down on smoking and eventually quit, he would hardly leave this unhealthy habit. He said, "In my personal opinion he would never be able to because of his all-knowing haughty persona."
