Disha Patani starrer Sangamithra to start rolling in July

Actress Disha Patani, who has hit the bull's eye with her latest release Baaghi 2, will start shooting for her upcoming magnum opus Sangamithra from July. The film will be directed by noted director Sundar C. The first shooting schedule will take place in Hyderabad. “The film will be on the lines of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali and will release in two parts,” a source close to the development revealed.

Disha plays the title role in the big-ticket movie. Earlier, the project was set to take off in July, but due to prior commitments of the actress, the makers pushed the film to July. Reportedly, the actress has now allotted a chunk of her dates to the makers so that the film wraps up on time. “It will be filmed on a grand scale and if everything goes as planned, the first part will release next year.” revealed the source.

To be made on a lavish budget of Rs. 400 crore, Sangamithra will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Besides Disha Patani, the film also features Jayam Ravi and Arya in lead roles.
