Here’s a brand-new update from the B-Town! Young stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon are coming together for the upcoming film Arjun Patiala. The film is set at the backdrop of a small town and is being produced by Dinesh Vijan who directed Kriti and Sushant Singh Rajput’s Raabta. According to the latest updates, the movie will be exclusively shot in Punjab and will roll in February 2018. In the film, Kriti will essay a journalist while Diljit has a quirky character of a small town guy. The movie is touted to be a character-driven comedy.
Dinesh Vijan has earlier produced films like Love Aaj Kal, Cocktail, Badlapur and more recently Saket Chaudhary’s Hindi Medium confirmed the news, and said in a statement, “The Hindi film audience has already experienced Diljit’s intensity, now it’s time to laugh with him. Kriti is moving from Bareilly to Patiala to deliver another small-town surprise and this time she is holding a pen.”
Kriti also spoke about the association. She said, “I love watching good comedies and while shooting for Bareilly Ki Barfi I realized that I enjoyed being a part of this world too. I’m looking forward to shooting with Diljit.”
Diljit added to it saying, “Dino’s team is a set of young, talented and creative minds who I am really excited to work with.”
