Exclusive: Padmavati to be distributed by Paramount Pictures overseas!

One of the biggest and most talked about films of 2017, Padmavati , will soon hit the silver screens this December. Despite the obstacles and delays, the film team has fought back and they are gearing up for the release. Yesterday, Deepika Padukone launched the 3D Trailer of the film and answered some really lucrative questions of the media. The film will not only release on a large scale in India but also at the international markets.

The makers of Padmavati have joined hands with Paramount Pictures to distribute the film at the international circuits.

Ajit Andhare – COO, Viacom18 Motion Pictures, said in a statement, “I am very proud to announce that Paramount Pictures will lead the international release of our epic film Padmavati. This is a first-ever such collaboration with Paramount Pictures releasing a Viacom18 Hindi feature across international markets. We are breaking new ground with Padmavati, its marketing and release strategy. With Paramount coming on board, we will take the film to a whole new level globally”.

Talking about the association, Megan Colligan, spokesperson Paramount Pictures, said, “We are thrilled to be partnering with Viacom18 Motion Pictures on this exciting new release. Padmavati has all the makings of a hit film and we are excited to bring Sanjay’s incredible vision to audiences across the international marketplace.”

Starring Deepika Padukone , Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in key roles, this Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s magnum opus Padmavati releases on December 1, 2017.
