Director and Actor Farhan Akhtar agreed on the fact that Movies does influence the general Public. But also explained that more than the peppy item numbers it is the way hero romances heroine which affects more.
He thought that it is one of the important aspects and has changed with passing days. Farhan was present at the event of One Billion Rising, a global campaign organized to raise the awareness about gender based violence across the country. He told that love on screen has turned open and bold. At one time it was hidden then became sober and romantic but now over the years it went into a different phase. He felt a need for introspection. One should understand when it is a female celebrating her sensuality or sexuality or her independence and when does the male stare take over.
Farhan will next be seen on the silver screen in ' Bhaag Milkha Bhaag '.
