Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala lets go of a movie title for friend Salman Khan!
According to reports, filmmaker Sajid Khan has gifted a title to his friend Salman Khan who wanted to make a film with the same title.
We all know that Salman Khan and filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala’s friendship goes back to the 90s. Both have worked together on several successful films and when Sajid decided to turn to direction, the first actor he chose to make his directorial debut movie Kick with was none other than Salman Khan. The duo will work together again for the second installment of Kick very soon.
Salman Khan is currently busy with his film Tiger Zinda Hai with Katrina Kaif. The film, which is a sequel to their 2012 blockbuster film Ek Tha Tiger, is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Though the movie is still being shot, reports suggest that the superstar has already given his consent to star in Zafar’s another film titled Bharat which will be bankrolled by Khan’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri. Interestingly, the title of the movie is registered in the name of filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala who had registered it in the 90s. So, obliging his long-term superstar friend, Sajid has happily given up on the title and has allowed Salman to use it as the title of his next venture.
According to a source, "When Atul wanted this name for his film with Salman, Sajid instantly gifted it since he had no plans of using it in the near future. He wanted to help them in every way possible." Atul Agnihotri’s spokesperson has confirmed the development.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan has wrapped up the Abu Dhabi schedule of his film Tiger Zinda Hai. The film is being readied for 22nd December release.
