For Race 3, Salman Khan demands 70% of profit earning from the box office collections!

Without a doubt, Salman Khan is still one of the most bankable stars in the Bollywood land and any commercial film maker would pay any price point to feature him in their film! Indeed, like other A list star of Bollywood, Salman Khan also charges his remuneration as per his market value and star-power and as per the new trend in the industry, he also asked profit share from the box office collection from the distributors! And as per the report by Bollywood Hungama , for his upcoming thriller film Race 3 , Salman charged 70 percent of the profits of Race 3 as his remuneration from the producer Ramesh Taurani and plus, negotiation for its satellite rights are also in order!

As the sources indicates, “We are sure he’ll get what he wants from Taurani who is just grateful that Salman agreed to work in the Race franchise thereby elevating its equity from the ‘Saif’ zone to sky high.” Somehow it is quite justified that, why stars demand such remuneration from the producers, as stars like Salman Khan , Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan are still proven to be crowd magnet, regardless of how aesthetically good or bad film is made.

And this is not first time for Salman to quote such remuneration demand as previously Yash Raj Films also have paid similar percentage of their profit for Ek Tha Tiger . Eventually the deal paid out and the film was one of the top grossing films of 2012. It would be interesting to see what demand standard be set by Salman Khan if his upcoming release, Tiger Zinda Hai would go out to another blockbuster, which would substantially raise his market value!
