Yash Raj Films is gearing up to present fresh faces in Bollywood for which everyone is excited about. Aadar Jain and Anya Singh got quite a lavish welcome in Bollywood which every newcomer craves for! Now, after all the glitz and glamour around their launch, the makers have finally released the first look poster of the upcoming film and also its trailer. The movie is titled Qaidi Band which narrates the intriguing tale of seven prison inmates who are under trials and desperately waiting to get out of jail and taste freedom!
The trailer is a captivating one that gives an interesting glimpse into the story. Seven young prison inmates who are innocent but are behind the bars because their trial in the court is still pending. The trailer highlights the petty state of such under-trail prison mates in India. These seven youngsters from varied backgrounds get the opportunity to form a band and present their music talent before officials, their video goes viral and gains popularity. But, a saddening political controversy attacks their freedom once again and then begins their fight for justice and liberty. The tagline is “Music will set them free”!
Qaidi Band is written and directed by Habib Faisal, who made Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor’s Ishaqzaade. The movie also features veteran actor Sachin Pilgaonkar in a pivotal role. The film’s most touted music has been rendered by Amit Trivedi. Since the whole concept of the film revolves around freedom, the timing of the release seems just right. It releases in the Indian independence month, on August 25!
