Shashank Shekhar is directing a film based on the life of the controversial artist Maqbool Fida Husain (M. F. Husain) who died on 9th June, 2011 in London. Though this film would not be completely a biography of the painter, one of the leading characters in the film would be inspired by his life.
Buzz is that the character inspired by artist Maqbool Fida Husain (M. F. Husain) would be played by the Bad Man of Bollywood - Gulshan Grover. To look like M.F. Hussain, he is going to sport long hair and sources also reveal that he would walk around barefoot in this movie.
Above all, to look real, Gulshan Grover has also practiced to paint before starting this movie. To perform in the right manner he has also taken lessons on painting from his painter friends.
