The director Ali Abbas Zafar is going to pay tribute to Yash Chopra with 60-second montage at the starting of the film 'Gunday'.

The legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra breathed his last in the year 2012 and the last script he heard was of the film 'Gunday'. Reportedly, the director Ali Abbas Zafar came up with the idea to pay tribute to the late filmmaker Yash Chopra at the beginning of the film 'Gunday' with a 60-second montage.

After reading the script of 'Gunday', Chopra gave some valuable inputs and tips to the director Zafar. Chopra told the director to shoot this flick in real coal mines and not to recreate it. It was Chopra's dream during 'Kaala Patthar', as said by a statement. A close source said that "It was Ali Abbas Zafar's idea, he was very, very keen as this was Yashji's last script that he had heard. This was an emotional moment for Ali,"

'Gunday' releases today and features Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Arjun Kapoor.
