Has John Abraham bowed out of ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’ (RAW)?
The actor will be seen shortly in his upcoming home production, Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran.
Actor John Abraham, who was recently in news for his ugly fallout with Prernaa Arora over their joint venture Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran, has reportedly turned down the offer to star in the much-delayed film Romeo Akbar Walter (RAW). The actor was signed for the film a couple of months back after Sushant Singh Rajput walked out of it due to some differences with the makers.
Though no official announcement has been released by the makers as to why Abraham quit the project, a report published in a popular daily says that the actor felt that the storyline of RAW was too similar to Meghna Gulzar’s forthcoming film Raazi. After watching the trailer of Raazi, John found that the film is very much similar to what RAW talks about and hence decided to opt out.
However, another source reveals that the makers have themselves put the film on hold as they feel that it will be very difficult for them to recover the high budget of the film. Well, what is the truth, no one knows as of now. Hope the makers clear the air soon.
