Hema Malini feels Deepika Padukone is the Dream Girl of today’s age!

Hema Malini recently turned 69 and on the occasion of her birthday, a grand event was organized to launch her biography titled ‘Beyond The Dream Girl’. The biography is authored by Ram Kamal Mukherjee and it was launched by the gorgeous and talented actress Deepika Padukone . The event was attended by Malini’s family and close friends. At the event, Hema Malini spoke at length about the book, revealed details about her family and also praised Deepika Padukone .

The veteran actress is highly impressed by Deepika and her work. So, while praising Deepika, she said that “Deepika is the Dream Girl of today’s age”. A title that Malini has been proudly adorning for decades. This was a big deal for Deepika and she was naturally overwhelmed. The book has a forward by PM Narendra Modi as Hema Malini joined Politics with BJP. This is the first biography where an active PM has written a forward for any book!

The author said in an interview, the author said, "The book is divided into 23 chapters, covering her childhood, teens, Bollywood, rise as an actor, romance, colleagues, marriage, her second innings, launching Shah Rukh Khan in 'Dil Aashna Hai' -- which she directed -- her ballet, her political journey and spiritual journey. There are two chapters dedicated to her daughters Esha and Ahana.

"She has also spoken about her Agra accident and her singing career. We have summed it all up with a chapter called 'Bliss'. This book will also have Hemaji's family tree, which has not been published earlier, and there will be a lot of exclusive unseen photographs from her personal, professional and political spheres."
