Sanjay Dutt is the latest entrant of the Jagga Jasoos team. Just a few weeks before its theatrical release, he has joined them. So if you are wondering what role has Anurag Basu assigned him at the last moment, then it is of a narrator!
As we all know Ranbir Kapoor ’s character Jagga is having a stammering problem. He mostly communicates with songs; therefore there are over 29 songs in the film. To balance the song proportion with a proper recitation, the makers wanted a firm voice to narrate the film. And it was Ranbir’s decision to have Sanjay on board to voice the film.
Ranbir is the co-producer of Jagga Jasoos . Considering his newly formed alliance with Sanjay over the latter’s biopic, this last minute addition comes to no surprise. It is said that Sanjay found Jagga Jasoos ’s script intriguing and gave his instant nod. He completed the entire voice over process in the following weeks. Presently, Ranbir is busy promoting Jagga Jasoos with co-star Katrina Kaif. And, Sanjay is off for an exotic vacation in Europe with his family.
The above mentioned 29 songs are composed by Pritam. Few of which, are even out now and are drastically different from what Bollywood goers have seen till date. Jagga Jasoos is slated to release on July 14.
