Hrithik to do 'Shuddhi'
After a much speculation over Hrithik's new film, it's confirmed that the tall and handsome dude is to appear next in Karan Malhotra's upcoming film 'Shuddhi' (Purification). Hrithik was flooded with many offers including Kabir Khan's untitled project and Shekhar Kapur's 'Paani'.

After a much speculation over Hrithik Roshan 's new film, it's confirmed that the tall and handsome dude is to appear next in Karan Malhotra 's upcoming film 'Shuddhi' (Purification). Hrithik was flooded with many offers including Kabir Khan 's untitled project and Shekhar Kapur 's ' Paani '. But Hrithik chose 'Shuddhi' at the end of the day.
Hrithik has signed the movie last Sunday. The film will be produced by Karan Johar and the male protagonist will be played by Hrithik. Other actors including the female protagonist and antagonist are yet to be finalized. Earlier Malhotra has produced ' Agneepath ' the remake of the yesteryears blockbuster film with the same name. ' Agneepath ' also had Hrithik in a lead role. According to the source, Hrithik and Karan had a prolonged talk and then Hrithik signed the document. Clearing the rumors , the source also said that the film is not based upon famous writer Amit Tripathi's book 'The Immortals of Meluha' which is one of the Shiva Triology written by Amit.
Excited about the project, Karan confirmed the news. He said that Hrithik will star in his next film. The role is very complex and like the protagonist, the antagonist's character is also a very strong one. He revealed that the film will go on the floors this November and they aim to release the film on 2014's Diwali.
