I hope somebody offers me a period film, states Tiger Shroff

Bollywood young star Tiger Shroff became immensely popular just after his first film Heropanti released. The actor has a huge fan base and is loved and pampered by his following. All his movies by far have been high on action as that being his forte. His exceptional dance moves are adored by one and all. Tiger has a number of interesting projects lined up for release including Munna Michael , Baaghi 2, Student Of The Year 2 among others.

But, what the actor actually desires to work on is no more a mystery. As the good looking star revealed it in his recent media interview. In an interaction with a leading daily, Tiger Shroff said, “In fact, I am dying to do a film like Troy (2004) or something like that. I hope somebody offers me period film; I would love to do that. I’d love to play a young warrior in a film set in the olden days. I like Gladiator (2000) and 300 (2006) too. And in Indian cinema, I quite like Jodha Akhbar (2008).”

While asked about working in a multi-starrer film, he said, “Yes. It’s not that I am not open to the idea. I have been only getting solo lead projects. Nobody has offered me a multi-starrer.”

Tiger also expressed his interest to work in a film like Dil Chahta Hai (2001) starring Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna in the lead. Talking about the film, he said, “Yes, that will be good fun. It will be a nice break from the films that I do. I love how all the actors brought something unique to the table. It wouldn’t have been the way it is if one of them was missing.”

Tiger Shroff is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Munna Michael that also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and newbie Nidhhi Agerwal in a key role. The film has been scheduled to release on July 21st, 2017.
