Bajirao Mastani emerged as a big winner Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, won top honours at the IIFA 2106, checkout the list.

2015’s epic period drama Bajirao Mastani has garnered most of the awards for its spectacular presentation in every award function. At IIFA 2016, the historical drama was not behind in raking in appreciation and awards. The movie brought in the top honours for the cast and its makers.
Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor (male) trophy for Bajirao Mastani and actress Deepika Padukone won the Best Actor (female) for her role in Piku. Film maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali was honoured with the Best Director trophy for the period drama. Priyanka Chopra was awarded the best actor (female) in a supporting role for her stupendous performance as Kashibai in Bajirao Mastani . Priyanka also garnered a special award of Woman of the Year at IIFA 2016.
The other awards Bajirao Mastani raked in are - Best Cinematography to Sudeep Chatterjee, Best Production Design to Saloni Dhatrak, Sriram Iyengar and Sujeet Sawant, Best Choreography to Remo D’souza for ‘Ping’, Best Action to Shyam Kaushal and Best Sound Design to Bishwadeep Chatterjee and Nihar Ranjal Samal.
The star studded celebration IIFA 2016 began on June 23 and, was a four day gala event in Madrid.
