After undergoing a lot of censor trouble, Abhishek Chaubey’s directorial venture Udta Punjab has finally been passed under the A category with only one cut. The film will now hit the silver screens on its original release date i.e. on June 17, 2016. Co-producer said at the press conference: "The verdict has been fantastic for us, for the country and for Udta Punjab. Thanks to the High Court." The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan , it revolves around the drug scenario in the state of Punjab.
