Is Mohit Suri planning to reunite with Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor?
After Aashiqui 2, I would love to work with them once again, says Mohit Suri on collaborating with Aditya and Shraddha.
In 2013, Mohit Suri created magic with his film ‘Aashiqui 2’, which turned out to be a blockbuster. The film was a sequel to the 1990’s film Aashiqui, starring Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal. 'Aashiqui 2' featured newcomers Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. The film became one of the highest grossing films of that year, and Aditya and Shraddha became the most loved couple overnight. Though the director has worked with Shraddha in 3 films so far, he immensely wants to work with Aditya once again. Mohit is planning to bring the couple back on screen once again and he is even working on a script.
Recently, when asked about working with Aditya again by a leading daily, Mohit replied, "I am working on a script and dying to work with Aditya. Even as friends, I have to wow him with the script. Once I am done writing, I will pitch it to him." Talking about Shraddha, Mohit further said, "I don’t know that as yet. Working with both of them would be great since I share a bond with them. After Aashiqui 2, I would love to work with them once again."
Aditya and Shraddha together were last seen in ‘OK Jaanu’. Though the movie failed at the box office, the couple succeeded in creating the same magic. So, if the couple is loved so much by the masses, it would be interesting to see them again, only if Mohit manages to do so.
