Its remake time in Bollywood

Bollywood is going through a new trend nowadays. People from Bollywood are opting for the remakes instead of creating original scripts. Recently 10 Hindi remakes are there in the offing and yet many more in the line. Filmmakers are taking inspiration from the south to make their films. In the recent two years, films like \'Bodyguard\',\'Ready\',\'Singham\',\'Housefull 2\',\'Rowdy Rathore\' and \'Son Of Sardaar\' was Hindi remakes and they have earned almost Rs.600 crore at the box office. This has fuelled the trend of making the Hindi remakes of the south Indian films. According to the source currently almost 9 remakes are in the queue.

Thuppakki was the Tamil blockbuster film. The remake is yet to be titled but its Hindi version will have Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Kumar as the lead pair. A.R.Murugadoss has directed the original and will be directing the remake as well.

Policegiri is the Hindi remake of the Tamil Film Saamy. The remake will have Sanjay Dutt and Prachi Desai. Director K.S. Ravi Kumar has directed the original and will direct the remake along with Prakash Raj.

Rangrezz is the Hindi remake of Priyadarshan\'s Tamil film Nadodigal. The Hindi remake will feature Jackky Bhagnani and Priya Anand. Ramaiya Vastavaiya is the Hindi remake of Telugu film Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. The original was directed by Prabhu Deva and the remake as well will be directed by him.

Filmy Picture which features Riteish Deshmukh is the Hindi remake of Tamil comedy flick Tamiz Padam. Kick will have Salman Khan which is the Hindi remake of Telugu film with the same name. The film will also have Deepika Padukone and will be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala. Along with these films, films like Shortcut Romeo,Ramana and Pizza are the remakes of the south Indian movies. Looks like Bollywood is getting lots of inspiration from the down south.
