'Jai Ho' collects Rs 77.48 crores in 5 days

Much-hyped recent release of Salman Khan, 'Jai Ho' is struggling hard to reach up to the mark of 100 crore. This flick witnessed a thorny path than the earlier mega hits of Salman Khan, such as 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Dabangg' and 'Wanted'. The action-flick 'Jai Ho' received mixed reviews from the critics and could not please the audience to much extent by seeing the low occupancy in theatres.

In the first three days of its release, 'Jai Ho' grossed Rs. 60.68 crore. The movie moved at a snail's pace in the first week by collecting 77.48 crore in five days, reportedly. Taran Adarsh, the trade analyst tweeted "#JaiHo Wknd 60.68 cr, Mon 9.50 cr, Tue 7.30 cr, Total: 77.48 cr nett. India biz only," By looking at these figures, 'Jai Ho' is also much far from reaching 200 crore club. However, the film is anticipated to touch 100 crore mark in this week, as there is no tough competitor for the film at this stage.
