'Jism 2' Highest Grossing Female Centric Film With A Debutant Actress

There are many female oriented films of Bollywood which have become blockbusters such as ' The Dirty Picture ' & ' Kahaani ' of Vidya Balan . Now there are reports that for a debutant actress ' Jism 2 ' has become the highest grosser film till date in Bollywood.

It has earned almost INR 40 Crores worldwide till date. However, Vidya Balan 's both films mentioned above have crossed INR 100 Crores. But since ' Jism 2 ' is Sunny Leone 's debut movie, it is considered a record for a women centric film in terms of revenue.

Sunny Leone had said one week prior to the release of her film, "When I stepped into Bollywood, I had no idea what would happen. Though it was not about me just stepping into the zone just for trial sake, I took it up because the opportunity came my way. Today when Pooja and Bhatt saab are telling me about the collections, it is an absolutely amazing feeling. I know that I am here to stay. There would be more movies for sure in next couple of years. In fact I should be beginning my next film soon",

She had further said, "I trusted Pooja's judgment on who she wanted in the film. It was her film and she carried certain vision. It was entirely her prerogative on which actors suited the film best. I was okay with whoever co-star I would have got. In any case I am new to the industry and can't really differentiate one from another."

However, audience have not liked her performance in ' Jism 2 ' and they opine that if she has to survive in film industry she would need to improve her acting skills and not depend on her exposure.
