Saif Ali Khan was last seen doing comedy in Happy Ending (2014), which though failed at the box office but his double role was appreciated in the film. It would be interesting to how Kaalakaandi being a dark comedys turns out for him. Akshat Verma has been working on this film for quite a long time, post success of Delhi Belly, which is still touted as an ideal mould for any Bollywood dark comedy and it how should be made.
