Kalki Koechlin has an unapologetic take on the films she chooses!

Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin is often seen doing different and artistic role that carries a powerful message. She is a great performer and has a graceful aura. Her films are the reflection of what she believes in. Kalki’s last commercial film was Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani with Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor. In a recent interaction, the actress opened up why she does less commercial films and says her image of being choosy about roles is an illusion.

Kalki shattered her picky image and said, "I haven't got any commercial film which I think is important enough to do. I am not choosy, it is just an illusion people have. I have never been picky. Work takes time to come and good work takes even longer."

"It is about being confident. When you are a public figure you have to know what you want and know what you want to put out there. Public image also ends up being your personal image. It is important to know what you stand for," she added.

The actress also spoke about how she takes up her work, she said, "It is very important to have my space that is where I prepare for my work. It is like you are a vessel and you are full so you need to empty yourself out somewhere. So, you need to empty yourself to fill up with a new idea."
