Kangana Ranaut's next to be helmed by a Southern filmmaker?
The actress is currently shooting for the upcoming period film Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi.
Buzz has it that Kangana Ranaut’s next film after Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi will be helmed by a South filmmaker. Some media outlets report that the Queen actress is in talks with writer-director Prakash Rao Kovelamudi. For the uninitiated, Prakash Rao Kovelamudi is the son of the legendary Telugu filmmaker, K Raghavendra Rao and has directed films like Bommalata (2004), Anaganaga O Dheerudu (2011) and Size Zero (2015) in the past. Now, Kangana is keen to rope in the director for a film.
Nothing much is known about the next venture of Kangana. It is in the very initial stage. The actress will start work on the same once she wraps up her historical drama Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi. The team of the period film is expected to head to Rajasthan to film the next schedule of the much-awaited movie. Directed by Krish, Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi also stars Jisshu, Atul Kulkarni, Sonu Sood and Ankita Lokhande. It is scheduled to release on April 27.
