Kangana to play a differently abled woman in R Balki’s next opposite Amitabh Bachchan?

Once Kangana and Senior Bachchan are done with their ongoing films, R Balki will start with this project.

No doubt what a class actress Kangana Ranaut is. With no godfather and connections in the B-town, she managed to get herself the title, ‘Queen of Bollywood.’ Well, when it comes to Kangana’s movies, no male actor is actually required to uplift the film. She, on her own, has given multiple hits and super hits alone being the face of the film. But there’s one actor whose work she has always admired and wished to work and share the screen space with. We are talking about megastar, Amitabh Bachchan. Though Kangana and Big B have done a commercial together, they have never appeared in any movie. But we think her wish is all set to get fulfilled by director R Balki. Balki wants to cast the two actors in an untitled film where Kangana will be seen as a differently abled woman and Amitabh will play her mentor who helps her to fight against all odds. Balki will start this project once both the actors finish their ongoing films.

Reveals a source in interaction with a tabloid, “Kangana had already been roped in for the Arunima Sinha (the first Indian amputee to scale Mount Everest) biopic. But the film showed no signs of kick-starting. So when Balki offered her this project, she was keen to come on board. The film revolves around a woman who is left handicapped after a freak accident and eventually reclaims her life. Bachchan will be seen as her mentor, who will inspire her to rise against all odds.”

Balki will begin pre-production on this untitled venture, as soon as ‘Pad Man’ hits theatres on January 25. The director intends to begin shooting for this film only after Kangana wraps up her film ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ and Bachchan gets done with ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ and ‘102 Not Out’.
