Karan Johar announces the release date of Drive featuring Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez!

BollywoodMDB earlier reported our readers that Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez are set to team up for the first time for the upcoming film Drive . The movie which is backed by Dharma Productions has locked its release date. Karan Johar recently announced the release date of the film with a new teaser poster of the film! Drive has been scheduled to release on March 2, 2018. Johar posted: “Start..Zoom..Accelerate..#DRIVE on the 2nd of March 2018 with @itsSSR and @Asli_Jacqueline directed by our DOSTana boy @Tarunmansukhani.”
The film is said to be the first part of the franchise that the makers are trying to build. Drive is directed by Tarun Mansukhani who helmed Karan Johar ’s blockbuster film Dostana (2008). The movie is all out for action and its name ‘Drive’ suggests the same! The film is a love story with loads of action and drama. The makers have locked the Holi weekend so as to get an extra advantage for the film. All the team members including the lead stars and producer Karan Johar are all excited for the film to start rolling.
Currently, Sushant is busy with Chandamama Door Ke and has a few other interesting films in hand. Jacqueline will be next seen in Judwaa 2 and Salman Khan’s next with Remo D’Souza. The actress is also gearing up for A Gentleman with Siddharth Malhotra.
