Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year 2’ is delayed again?

Preparations for the second installment of the blockbuster film, Student Of The Year, have been going on since more than a year now, but yet the project has not taken off. Announced with much fanfare, Student Of The Year 2 has Tiger Shroff as the male lead. The film features two heroines but there is no update on who will play the female parts. Several names have been tossed around, though, in last few months. To be directed by Punit Malhotra, the sequel is being produced by Karan Johar under his production banner, Dharma Productions.

If some latest reports are to be believed, SOTY 2 is not going to mount floors anytime soon. The main reason behind it delay is its script. Reportedly, director Punit Malhotra is not very impressed with the script of the movie and hence he is rewriting a major portion of it to make it more appealing and engaging. It is yet not clear when the film will finally mount floors.

Meanwhile, Tiger is currently busy with the shooting of his next film Baaghi 2. If SOTY 2 gets pushed again, in that situation, he might move on to start Rambo remake.
