According to the source, the 40 year old filmmaker will be seen in a cameo in the film ' Hasee Toh Phasee ' . Karan is co producing this film along with veteran filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and his partners. However, the details of Karan's role has not been revealed yet. The film stars Siddharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles.
But according to our source, it is reported that Karan will be seen in a key role in yet another film.Karan shares a good relationship with Anurag Kashyap and will be seen in his ' Bombay Velvet '. Karan will essay a gray shaded role in this film. Karan has confirmed this development. It is revealed that Karan will essay the character named Khambata, a Parsi Industrialist. This character plays a major role in the film, the source said. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as a leading man in this film and it is reported that Karan and Ranbir will have a direct conflict in this film which is a major highlight of ' Bombay Velvet '.
